Siem Reap, Cambodia

Entered the Kingdom of Cambodia via Poipet we arrived in Siem Reap (Khmer: ក្រុងសៀមរាប), a fast growing town full of markets everywhere, the gateway to Angkor Wat. Siem Reap has colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market. Buddhist pagodas appearing around along the river, "want a tuk tuk madame" anywhere anythime, plenty of places to hang around, a group of Italian friends living there… You could stay for ages, you could run away immediately!

On the Tonle Sap shore

A long bridge, that disappears during the rainy season, with palafitte all around and fish drying on the dust. Nice smiles, people working all together, calm atmosphere. The houses are made of anything, with very high stairs to get in.
Around 20 kilometres in tuk tuk from Siem Reap, part of the Angkor temples route.

Partenza improvvisa

Vorrei fare un viaggio... Ti accompagno! Oman air?

Dinner with Piapon & 4 litres of Leo bear
Breakfast
Firenze - Milano - Muskat - Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport - Bang Seam (near Chonburi)
