Siem Reap, Cambodia

Entered the Kingdom of Cambodia via Poipet we arrived in Siem Reap (Khmer: ក្រុងសៀមរាប), a fast growing town full of markets everywhere, the gateway to Angkor Wat. Siem Reap has colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market. Buddhist pagodas appearing around along the river, "want a tuk tuk madame" anywhere anythime, plenty of places to hang around, a group of Italian friends living there… You could stay for ages, you could run away immediately!
