Bazaar

My passion for markets around the world is well known, as you might have noticed in each country I visit and where I live too, I love to go to markets, trying particular food, vegetables and spices, shooting snaps of the every day life and simply hanging around. The Grand Bazar, Kapalıçarşı, in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops which attract thousands of visitors daily. The complex has been in 2011 the most visited monument in the world! The Spice Bazaar, Mısır Çarşısı, with its colours, parfumes and sweets, street markets, books, fish and mosaic lamps markets...que maravilla! A break drinking a cay while smoking apple narghilè, and back again around the stalls...
